The province is also the home to the world’s smallest primate, the tarsier. It is the big-eyed insect-eating primate. Scientists regard this as the oldest mammal now inhabiting the earth.

The museums and churches attest to its rich culture and heritage. These places showcase the province’s exciting history and memorabilia of a heritage that is reflected in the lives of the Boholanos. A heritage tour to comprise visit of churches, towers, ancestral houses, to name a few would be an ideal learning experience while having fun all at the same time. History tells us that the first international peace treaty between a Boholano, SiKatuna and Legaspi was made on the island.

A visit to Bohol would be incomplete without having a taste of the province’s Peanut Kisses, a crisp and crunchy delicacy made of eggs and peanuts in honor of the wondrous hills. Sunday walking exercise at the Opera House

Opera House is one of the best places that you should visit when you are in Australia. It has a very nice structure. It is a multi-venue performing arts center that was built by Danish architect Jorn Utzon. It has a Concrete frame & precast concrete ribbed roof. Inside it has a Concert Hall, Opera Theatre, Drama Theatre, Playhouse, Studio, Utzon Room and Forecourt.

Outside the house, you’ve got a good breeze coming from the sea. On the other side of the place is a bridge.

The Harbour bridge was built and opened in 1932. Locally nicknamed “The Coathanger” or “Colin”, it was built by Dorma Long and Co, Ltd.

One time during a Music Festival and House Music Competition, I was able to get inside the House and watched the contest for free. This is a yearly contest of high school students divided into groups called ‘house’. Each house will prepare their own musical piece or rendition of an existing piece. It is like a speech choir done by students in the Philippines.

My Visit to MBK

I visited their biggest (i think) shopping mall called MBK. I forgot to ask what MBK means. Inside the mall are stalls. Personally, I do not really like the place — PERSONALLY. I guess the small stalls makes the mall seems like an ordinary mall.

I went there to buy some souvenier shirts and other stuffs. In front of MBK there are some vendors laying their merchandize on the floor. Stuffs are very cheap but it is not really branded. Just like the Nike Tshirt I bought, it’s an imitation LOL.

In Thailand, PUVs include a taxi, toktok, motorcycle or a train. I experienced riding on a motorcycle (1 passenger only). It was good. It will take you to your destination in no time. Their train is just like the train in our country.

A lot of tourists ride on a tok tok just for experience. It is a common public vehicle in Bangkok. You can see it even in the city proper.

What I like in Thailand is their food. Spicy and hot food and its fresh! One night, Pichai and I went to eat just along the street. A lot of vendors along the street cooking and selling good foods. It was also during that time that I was fortunate, a ‘monk’ (i guess) with an elephant bringing it to the sidewalk for people to touch and give some food. Actually, these people are selling sugarcane that you will feed to the elephant. Well, not really selling
